CSL This is for the 21st

There are so many people that have lost their jobs and have no money, and are just weeks away from becoming homeless. There is a warehouse where people crowded because they’re unemployed, have very short amount of food, or need shelter.

In La Mesa demand for food from the food back has nearly doubled in the past year.

There is a 29 year old Mexican Immigrant that moved to the US when he was a teenager, and worked on a ranch with his wife.

He has 2 kids and a wife.

He doesn’t have a car, a job, money, nothing.

He got some money by working as a manager for a local vitamin place and got a green card, at that time he felt he had everything, but sadly he lost his job 2 months later.

His quote: “Money moves the world”

He doesn’t want to ask the government for help and he tried to look for another job, but failed. He only has $2000 left to spend for food for his family, bills, and rents for his apartment. If he doesn’t pay the rent he will be on the streets soon.

The unemployment rate in California is 10.5% right now, which is the highest it has gotten to in 26 years. In San Diego it is 8.8% which has nearly doubled in the past year.
